Just watched your video about eating with the kids.. And I’m working LATE, trying to finish editing a video! The video moves along really nicely, and it reinforced what I knew, but wasn’t doing…

I’m going to start asking my husband to give my son a snack on the days that I can get home before 6:30, so we can eat together on those days.

I have always been a believer in meals being positive for kids. I think with todays busy and juggled schedules many meals just can not be eaten together… But those that can should be special. I find that getting the real food away when the kids are no longer hungry, and setting out some fruit: apples, blueberries, pears seems to keep the ritual going without encouraging overeating as a social activity. I love this blog. I have two projects related to kids — one of which is a nutrition-related project I am developing and the other is Santa Claus Animated Christmas on Santa.netOne topic I will be bringing up on the Santa.net/santa-claus-christmas-blog/ is parents and psychologists views regarding what they tell their kids about “Santa”… Is Santa real or not? That is a very common email I get. (The last Santa must have fallen off the roof a few years back, I have since been eating a lot of cookies and answering strange emails:):)
